Privacy Policy

Lean Income uses authorized QuickBooks Online data only for private internal business workflows.

QuickBooks Data Access

Lean Income may access QuickBooks Online accounting data after authorization through Intuit OAuth. Depending on permissions granted, data may include company info, chart of accounts, customers, vendors, invoices, bills, payments, deposits, purchases, transfers, journal entries, reports, and related accounting records.

How Data Is Used

Data is used only for internal business automation, reconciliation, categorization, reporting, payment review, and business health summaries.

AI-Assisted Workflows

Lean Income may use generative AI to help authorized internal users draft transaction categorization suggestions, reconciliation notes, and business summary text. AI output is reviewed by an authorized user before it is used for business decisions. Lean Income does not use AI to autonomously write, delete, or post transactions in QuickBooks Online.

QuickBooks data is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train public AI models. Any AI-assisted processing is limited to supporting the connected company's internal accounting and finance workflows.

Storage and Security

OAuth tokens and credentials are stored securely. Lean Income does not expose access tokens or refresh tokens in the browser, public pages, or API responses.

The app stores OAuth connection records, token expiration timestamps, and safe troubleshooting logs for QuickBooks API errors. Troubleshooting logs may include HTTP status, route, timestamp, and Intuit transaction ID values, but they do not include OAuth tokens.

Sharing

Data is not sold, not used for advertising, and not shared with unrelated third parties except service providers needed to operate the app, if applicable.

Disconnecting and Removal

Users can disconnect through Intuit/QuickBooks account settings or through the Lean Income disconnect page. Users can request data deletion by contacting support@leanincome.com.
